SETU has introduced a Policy Management Framework (PMF). The framework must be adopted for the development and implementation of all University policies.
The PMF was approved by Executive Management Team and reflects SETU’s expectations for policies that express the official University position in a transparent, coherent, quality assured and consistent way. Furthermore, the framework is intended to ensure policies go through stakeholder engagement and the correct approval channels. The Framework must be adopted for all future policies including those currently in draft.
There is a review process for draft policies, more details can be found here. Policies which have not been reviewed will be returned to the policy owner/author.
The Risk & Compliance team are available to give guidance, support and training when drafting policies.
