This hybrid conference took place in The Granville Hotel, Meagher Quay, Waterford and online Tuesday 29 November 2022

Opened by Dr Tom O’Toole, Dean of The School of Business at SETU, the conference brought together corporate social entrepreneurship experts in the fields of industry and education to network and discuss future challenges and how best to identify collaborative opportunities.

The social economy addresses many significant challenges faced by society locally and globally and its contribution to economic activity is growing every year. This conference, hosted by SETU School of Business, examined innovation in this vibrant area; pioneering leaders in this sector discussed their challenges and their vision with the conference delegates. The important role that education plays in addressing future challenges and collaborating with stakeholders was also explored.

Two ERASMUS+ projects; EMBRACE focusing on corporate social entrepreneurship and education and DIFUCH which examines challenge-based learning in a virtual environment were presented at the conference.
