RECRUITMENT OF GOVERNING BODY MEMBERS
The Governing Body of South East Technological University (SETU), Ireland’s newest technological university, is inviting expressions of interest from external candidates to join its governing body. SETU looks forward to receiving expressions of interest from suitably qualified individuals interested in serving the region in this important role.
SETU is a regional university with campuses in Carlow, Waterford, Wexford, Wicklow and Kilkenny with over 18,0000 learners and 2,000 staff. The university will graduate over 6,000 students each year. A defining feature of SETU is its deep collaboration with industry, enterprise and civic society in the region and beyond, nationally and internationally.
Members of the governing body perform key roles in relation to the direction, strategy and corporate governance of the university. Strong, independent judgement and objective scrutiny will be key to aiding SETU in further developing the university. SETU is keen to reflect a diversity of backgrounds and experiences in the composition of its governing body.
