The SETU Research Support Unit are delighted to invite our postdoctoral community and final year PhD students considering a postdoctoral funding application to an online information session on Postdoctoral Fellowships funding programmes. Potential supervisors who intend or are interested in supporting applicant researchers are also encouraged to attend.

This information session is aimed at supporting applicants to identify and explore postdoctoral fellowship grant opportunities at national, European and global levels on Wednesday 14 June at 10:30am (online via Zoom).  The session will spotlight two key postdoctoral fellowship opportunities, namely GOIPD and MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships in terms of providing:

  • Overviews of GOIPD and MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship calls, spanning programme offerings, timelines and scope;
  • Mapping eligibility and application criteria, including proposal and submission components and evaluation criteria;
  • Advice on proposal planning and timelines (developing a proposal concept, securing supervisory team, advance planning and scheduling of key proposal sections/components);
  • Signposting to proposal guidance and supports which are available;
  • Q&A session
