Horizon Europe research funding; meet the National Contact Point (NCP)

Dr Martha Cahill
On 14 May, Dr Martha Cahill, NCP for Horizon Europe Cluster 1 – Health, will visit the Waterford campus to deliver a short seminar at 11am. She will also be available for one-to-one consultations with researchers.
These occasions are a great opportunity to meet with the Horizon Europe funding experts. There are real benefits to engaging directly with the NCPs. Please register for the seminar at the link above, where you can also register for a one-to-one consultation with Dr Cahill.

Stephen O' Reilly
On 15 May, Stephen O'Reilly, NCP for Horizon Europe Cluster 4 – Digital and National Representative for the Key Digital Technologies (KDT) Joint Undertaking, will be on the Carlow campus. He is also the National Representative for the Key Digital Technologies (KDT) Joint Undertaking. He previously had responsibilities for FP7 (ICT), ARTEMIS, ENIAC, ECSEL and Horizon2020 (ICT & FET).

Dr Jane Carrigan
Dr. Jane Carrigan, NCP for Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) will join Stephen at 11am on the Carlow campus, and is available to meet with researchers. Jane provides tailored support to MSCA applicants. She has over 20 years’ experience of working in higher education in Ireland - firstly as an academic, programme director and module coordinator for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and in more recent years in research administration.

Dr Sergio Fernandez Ceballos
Sergio has worked as a Researcher, Project Manager, Senior Engineer, Innovation Executive, European Programmes National Contact Point and Delegate for Industry, Universities and Ministries/Public Agencies in Spain and Ireland. He is the NCP for Horizon Europe Cluster 4 - Digital, Industry and Space, specifically with a remit of 'Industry'. Sergio will join the other NCPs in Carlow on 15 May where he looks forward to meeting researchers.
Stephen, Jane and Sergio will each deliver a presentation, starting at 11am, followed by a short Q&A session, time permitting.
All NCPs will be available for pre-booked one-to-one meetings with researchers.
Light refreshments will be provided.
